But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. John 4:23
Healthy eating to me is about moderation not dieting. When God created everything, He said, “it is good” Genesis 1:25b, “It is very good” Genesis 1:31.
The purpose of God’s creation was for us to see Him in them, enjoy Him for what He has given us and as a result, glorify Him.
When you are eating that juicy steak or cheese pizza, you do not contemplate on how much fat or cholesterol it has, instead, you savor the brain and knowledge behind it. Who would think to add muscles and tendons, marrow and ligament to an animal weighed thousand pounds which part of it made on my plate tonight? Then as you eat bite by bite, you’ll glorify God. “Lord, your knowledge is too wonderful for me. It is indescribable. Who can understand you?”
This contemplation will lead you to give Him thanks. “I thank You Father for preparing this delicious steak on my table. So many people have not eaten spinach let alone a steak. And they don’t even know when they will have their next meal yet You have given me the privilege to know You more even as I am bitting this Filet Mignon. May Your name be glorified forever and ever.”
That’s how you live to enjoy Him. It doesn’t have to be Sundays. It doesn’t have to be at a certain location, certain ritual, certain ways. It is a condition of a heart. A grateful heart. A heart that knows don’t deserve anything. A heart that knows it is limited, incapable on her own and desperate to be guided in everything by her creator.
This is what Jesus meant when He said, “time is coming, indeed time is now when no one will worship in Jerusalem or in that mountain. True worshippers will worship God in Spirit and in truth for God seeks such worship.”
Worship is not a to-do list. It is not a scheduled event. It is not singing and raising hands. All of those may lead you to worship but they are not a worship.
A worship is a moment-by-moment experience with God through Jesus Christ. For in Him we live and move and we have our being (Acts 17:28). We were created FOR Him, and THROUGH Him TO Him.
The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, (Acts 17:30) because “He has fixed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed, and of this He has given assurance to all by raising Him from the dead.” Verse 31.
Are you going to be a woman of influence in 2018 or you’ll continue in the same slumber party? The times of ignorance God overlooked. Let 2018 be your year of prayers, praises, and thanksgiving in Christ Jesus.Tags: 2018, joy, worship
